Angeline Urban, age 87 of Waterloo formerly of New Hampton, IA died Monday, August 03, 2009 at Parkview Nursing and Rehab Center in Waterloo, IA.
Angeline Ann Kulish was born on April 19, 1922 to James and Rose (Shores) Kulish near Jerico, IA on the family farm. In 1940 Angeline was united in marriage to Lawrence Schmidt in Charles City, IA. They were later divorced. In 1966 Angeline was married to Joseph Urban in Caledonia, MN. The couple made their home in Waterloo, IA where she has continued to live.
Angeline enjoyed gardening, fishing and was an avid collector. She was a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church in Waterloo, IA.
Angeline is survived by her son Larry (Doris) Schmidt of New Hampton, IA; two brothers Clarence Kulish and Donnie (Margaret) Kulish of Waterloo, IA; grandchildren; great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Joe Urban in 1982; a son Lawrence; two brothers Walter and Virgil; three sisters-in-law Alice Kulish, Jenny Kulish and Doris Kulish.
Cemetery:
Burial will at St. Marys Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation:
Visitation will be one hour prior to the mass on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at Conway-Kolbet Funeral Home in New Hampton.
Service:
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at Holy Family Parish-St. Marys Center in New Hampton, with Msgr. Carl Schmitt officiating.

Larry and Doris, you have our deepest sympathy. I know how hard it is to lose your mother. I visited her in Allen Hospital her last stay. She seemed ready. She said it was a lot of work just to breath. We will bring Dad to the funeral on Thursday.

I am a niece of Joe Urban. I was so sorry to hear about Angeline’s passing. She was a blessing to my uncle. I really did like her.
