  1. SO SORRY TO HEAR BLANCHE PASSED AWAY. SO MANY GOOD VISITS WITH HER OVER THE YEARS. SHE LOVED MY MUSIC AT THE CARE HOME. HER FAVORITE SONGS WERE BLUE SPANISH EYES AND HORSEY KEEP YOUR TAIL UP. I WILL MISS HER HUG AND SMILE. R. I. P. BLANCHE. WE WILL ALL MISS YOU. TIM THE MUSIC MAN PROTIVIN IOWA.

  2. No heart breaks alone for God is always near. When a prayer is whispered God is always there to hear. When sorrow’s overwhelming, He comforts tenderly. A single tear never falls that he does not hear.(Psalms 65:2)

  3. “Blessed are the dead who from now on die in the Lord.” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them.” We are thankful for the long life God granted to Aunt Blanche and for her witness among us. Our sympathy to you. Gale and Roger Buhr, Decorah

  4. William Smith So sad to here of Aunt Blanche’s passing. Iam the son of Jack Smith. I was corresponding with Aunt Blanche in Dec. 2013. i have a letter from Aunt Blanche from some yrs. ago telling us about our family history. It was really heartbreaking to read about Walter&Mary who came from England to the USA to start their lives together. Walter was connected to royalty & had three sisters who disowned Walter because he married the maid. In the USA all was good in the beginning but then tradegy struck & Walter lost a lumber business that he owned that burned to the ground & Mary had eplepsy & at that time there was no cure so Mary was placed in a mental institution, where she lived out her days. Walter died in the streets of NYC. The 9 children 6boys/3 girls were placed in foster homes and such.. As a teenager i remember visited Aunt Blanche in Cornwall NY. Aunt Blanche had a beatiful all glass house on top of a mountain where she lived with her 6 great danes. She was a beautiful person inside & out. She had the most beautiiful green eyes. May heavens gates open their arms unto you and may your soul be comforted for all eternity.

  5. Barbara Zayatz (Smith) I am so sad to hear of my dear Aunt Blanche’s passing. I wish I had been able to see her more in our lifetimes but my memories remain from my childhood. She was a lovely person who loved God and I know she is at rest now in heaven surrounded by her family. We were all so thankful to her for sending us a long letter many Christmas’s ago about her mother and father and our family history. We would never had known without her caring to let us know. My deepest sympathy to all who knew Aunt Blanche.
