My family knew of Bill through the New Hampton Randall’s, Stan, Jerry and Rodney. We used to visit from IL and Bill always camr by to say hello when he knew my family was visiting. One time we all went to the river to swim and Bill wanted to stop by his place to get his surf board. As kids, we were all pretty impressed that he had a surf board. Well, he came out with a piece of plywood he shaped like a surfboard. We all laughed and he was adamant it would work. He went into the water and got on it and it started to sink. He swore up a storm but he didn’t let it ruin his day. He enjoyed the lake and even laughed about the board himself. I haven’t seen Bill in years, but he was an integral part of our family visits as a kid. May he rest in peace. My condolences to the family.
My sympathies are with you, Susie, and Larry , Dave and families. We all have good memories of Bill and now he is resting peacefully and I’m sure his sister Shirley is taking care of him , and the good Lord is taking care of both of them now. R.I.P. Bill

So sorry to hear of Bills passing . I worked at Marv & Zips from 1983 to 1987, and Bill was an integral part of the shop, washing, and waxing tractors, and doing little odd jobs. Bill always had time for a kind word, no matter how busy we were, or how much playful friendly teasing we gave him !! RIP Bill !! You live in my memories !
To the family and friends of Bill…you have our sympathy….I always got a kiss on the cheek and a “I love you” from Bill whenever I saw him…going to really miss that. He also like to keep me informed what our cousins were doing! We liked telling people we were cousins up one side and down the other….he is an angel now and at peace…
All our thoughts and prayers to Bill’s family. May his memories help you through the next days and we will always remember him with a smile. David and Jeanne Roder
Brown Family: Bill was a SUPER guy. I always loved our visits and we had many. He could always make me laugh. I have been away from New Hampton for many years now but at times when I was back we would visit if we could. He will be missed. Sympathy is with you all.
It seems like Bill has been in my life forever. As a child, Bill would always come to our house, selling things to earn prizes. He’d be there so long Lucy would call mom to send him home!. Now I’ve seen him more frequently as sister Debbie lives in is apartment complex. He is now pain free, sharing his humor to entertain the heavens. He will be missed in New Hampton!
My condolences to the Brown family. Bill has been a friend since I moved into New Hampton all those years ago. He’ll now be more comfortable.
Our condolences to the Brown Family! We will certainly miss Bill, weather he was dishing out the B.S. or taking it, we always had a good laugh! When our kids were growing up, he always had a dollar to give them whenever he saw them, The man had a heart of gold. R.I.P. Bill… Leo and Bev Dowd

Sending Prayers of strength & peace at this time of loss. Back in the day, Bill & I would exchange a visit and a beer at the “Hotel” bar. He was always jolly & polite. He would be working on a car at the park, when I lived in Straw’s Trailer Court. He took pride in doing an excellent job on the vehicles. He would boast about the shine. God Bless You All.
