John Woodson

John Woodson, age 68, of Alta Vista, IA passed away on Monday, May 4, 2020 at Linn Haven Rehab and Healthcare in New Hampton. John Frank Woodson was born on November 19th, 1951 to Frank and Mildred Woodson. He attended school in Clermont, Iowa and graduated from Claremont High School in 1969. John had several jobs until he moved to Denver, Colorado. There he owned and operated a seal coating business until 2015. He retired from his business and later moved to Alta Vista, Iowa to be closer to his family. John loved listening to music. His favorite football team was the Broncos as he was a security guard for the Bronco Stadium in the past. He also loved traveling and going on vacation to the country side. John is survived by sister, Nancy Kay Woodson of Alta Vista, Iowa, nephew John Sautter of West Union, Iowa, niece Tina Sautter of Lime Spring, Iowa and several other nieces and nephews. John was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Mildred Woodson.
