Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I have known Bob and his wife Darlene, since I was a small child. I have many memories of them, often in conjunction with my grandparents, Clarence & Marian Meyer, or with my Dad, Dick Meyer. I can’t even begin to guess how many stock car races I have attended throughout the years! Even though he didn’t know me, I felt honored to see him, at the recent anniversary gathering of his son Lynn and wife Sandi, at the Idler shop in Bassett. Hugs to all of the family during this time and remember him through smiles and stories.

  2. THE WORLD HAS LOST A VERY TALENTED AND HUBLE MAN. IT WAS MY PLEASURE TO GET TO MEET HIM AND KNOW HIM IN THE LATE 1960’S. EVERYONE WHO KNEW MR. IDLER RESPECTED HIS WORK ETHIC, MYSELF INCLUDED. GOD SPEED KEN IDLER. THE MILHAN FAMILY. ROGER, DEB AND BOBBI K.

  3. Please accept our sincere condolences. May the words quoted from this song bring you a measure of comfort as it did for us.
”If a man or woman should die, can they live again?
Hear the promise God has made:
He will call; The dead will answer.
They shall live at his command.
For he will have a longing
For the work of his own hand.
So have faith, and do not wonder,
For our God can make us stand.
    And we shall live forever,
As the work of his own hand ”(Job 14:13-15
