Knute D. Knutson, age 56, of Jerico, IA passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 9, 2020 at his home of natural causes. Private family graveside services will be held at a later date at Jerico Lutheran Cemetery in Jerico, IA with Pastor Peter Faugstad officiating. Online condolences may be left at www.conway-markhamfh.com. Memorials may be directed to the family. Knute Dean was born January 16, 1964, the youngest son of Jefferson Donald β€œDon” and Wilma (Lamprecht) Knutson in New Hampton, IA. He attended Jerico Lutheran Christian Day School. Then, he graduated from New Hampton High School. Knute worked for Featherlite Industries in Cresco, IA. He enjoyed watching NASCAR races and going to auctions. He was baptized, confirmed and a lifetime member of Jerico Lutheran Church. Knute is survived by his siblings, Bill (Bonnie) Knutson of Kalona, IA and Mary Lee Thomas of Mason City, IA; his uncle, Dale (Rose) Lamprecht of Charles City, IA and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
