Kory A. Moorman, age 44, of Sumner, Iowa passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo, Iowa.

Kory Alan Moorman was born on November 13, 1976 in Waterloo, Iowa to Kimberly Moorman. He attended school in Des Moines, Iowa. Kory later received his GED in 1996. He then attended Iowa Central Community College and graduated in 2001 with a certificate in welding technology. Kory worked as a welder, carpenter and auto mechanic.
Kory enjoyed working on motorcycles and cars. He enjoyed animal with his favorite being dogs..
Kory is survived by his mother Kimberly Moorman of Sumner, Iowa; grandmother Anna Moorman of Plainfield, Iowa; aunt and uncles Leland L. Moorman Jr of Lawler, Iowa, Lance (Shelly) Moorman of New Hampton, Iowa, Vance (Deb) Moorman of Kasson, Minnesota, Michelle Marvin of Sumner, Iowa and Zachary (Lori) Moorman of Fredericksburg, Iowa; and numerous cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather Leland L. Moorman Sr.
