Margaret A. Brogley, age 97, of New Hampton, IA, formerly of Fort Smith, AR died Thursday, December 6, 2012 at New Hampton Nursing and Rehab. Margaret Ann was born and raised in Fort Smith where she attended school and later graduated from the University of Arkansas – Fayetteville. She earned her degree in Home Economics which she used as a home economics teacher. Her passions were politics, reading, and gardening on her hilltop property overlooking the Arkansas River. Margaret is survived by her brother-in-law, Paul Hassman of New Hampton, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Glynn Reavis, and sister, Lucille Hassman.

Services for Margaret will be held in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

My deepest sympathy and condolences to Margaret’s famlly at this time. It was my privilege to care for her while at NHNRC and she was an amazing woman. Her zest for life and excitement when recanting her experiences to me, were priceless. She will be a difficult person to forget in the short time I knew her. God Bless You all and God Bless Margaret.
