Bonnie and family:
My heart aches for you. There are so many things that come to my mind that I would like to tell you but that will be at a later date. Now just know that you aren’t alone and use all the shoulders that are offered to lean on.
Can you imagine the stories that Mel and Bob will be telling now that they are together again. Bob was a very special person and will never be forgotten. Prayers for you and your family.
No offense to my other uncles, but my Uncle Bob was absolutely the coolest. I’ve never watched Tommy Lee Jones in a movie without thinking that Uncle Bob could have done a better job. There is nothing more exciting to a 7 year old little girl growing up in the Chicago Suburbs than having her Uncle Bob pull up in a real life Semi. Like all the Lore’s, Uncle Bob had style with a Capital S. I know that one of my father’s strongest regrets is that he didn’t do more to help his little brother after their mother died. Despite the hardships he endured, Uncle Bob built a life and a family that is a proud legacy. It is so difficult not to be there to pay my respects but it comforts me to know without a doubt that the angels are sitting up and taking notice of how much Bob Lore is loved and missed. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Please know that even though I can’t be there with you, I am so grateful to be part of the Lore family and, that for me, losing Bob is like losing a part of my Dad and my brother all over again. My love, Karen
My deepest sympathy goes out to Bonnie, Michelle and other family members during this time. I knew Bob most of my life and have fond memories of him. He always had some smart comment to make others laugh…
My thoughts are with you during this time and for the months to come. Remember the good times and may those memories bring you much peace and inner happiness.
