I am so sorry to hear about Shirley. She always had such good ideas to pass along. She would come in the cleaners and tell me what bargain she had just found and how she would accessorize it. I just loved talking to her, she was so full of ideas. I will miss her!

I was so very sorry to hear of Shirley’s passing. I had never paid much attention to her last name until I read the obituary. I knew her from volunteering in Tripoli. Also as an unusual twist…my birthname is Hruska. My biological father was Harold Hruska. I was adopted when I was young and I wonder if the possibility is there that we may be related. I know nothing of my father’s family, and was never sure of where to start to look.
Shirley was very sweet and will be remembered fondly.
You have our deepest sympathy
To Shirley’s Family, I was so surprised and saddened to hear of Shirleys recent death. She was always a vibrant woman, full of energy and fun – we certainly enjoyed having her along on Silver Advantage trips through the hospital. Her volunteer work at the Little House of Bargains was a gift to our community. Thank you for the privilege of knowing her. My thoughts and prayers are with you all, Francie Crawford, MMC-NH
