He attended and graduated from Charles City High School in 2010. After completing his education, Travis worked for Trellborg Manufacturing. He was known to be a hard worker his entire life. But with hard work came lots of play time. Travis lived to hunt and fish, camp and kayak, as well as raise honey bees. He was never afraid to drop what he was doing to help his family or friends. His kindness and compassion will be deeply missed. Travis fell ill only a short time ago, and while there was to be no cure Travis’s giving didn’t cease at his death. He lovingly gave life to lucky recipients through the Iowa Donor Network. Those left to honor Travis’s memories are his parents, Danny Joe Griffin and Lori Squier, both of Charles City; his brother, Dennis (Nicole) Griffin of Charles City; his sister, Jessica Usher-Mourlam of New Hampton; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lyle and Betty Griffin and maternal grandparents, Gene and Carol Squier. Travis’s family would like to thank the staffs of MercyOne Des Moines and Iowa Donor Network for the love and support through his final journey.
