Barbara Schaudenecker

Barbara Schaudenecker, age 83, of Lakewood, California, died on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at Suburban Medical Center in Paramount, California. Barbara Rose Schaudenecker was born on December 31, 1924 in Hayfield, MN to John and Anna (Keller) Schaudenecker.  In 1929 she moved with her family to New Hampton.  Barbara graduated from New Hampton High School and after her graduation she moved to Chicago and was employed as a secretary for several years.  Later she moved to Lakewood, Los Angeles County, California where she was employed as a legal secretary for the city, until her retirement.  She continued to live in Lakewood, California to the present. Barbara loved to go to the ocean and travel abroad.  She was a member of Pancratius Catholic Church in Lakewood. Barbara is survived by several nieces and nephews, sister-in-law Dorothy Schaudenecker of New Hampton and her friends.  She is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers John Jr., Michael, Joseph, and Adam and one sister Ann Saunders. Cemetery: Burial will be in St. Marys Cemetery at New Hampton with Rocky Burgart, Sue Burgart, Gary Schaudenecker, Gail Schaudenecker, Kyle Burgart, and Amanda Burgart serving as casket bearers. Visitation: Visitation will be 10:00-11:00AM, Monday, March 31, 2008 at St. Josephs Center. Service: Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00AM, Monday, March 31, 2008 at Holy Family Parish, St. Josephs Center in New Hampton with Msgr. Carl Schmitt celebrating mass.
