  12. Pam, Lisa, and Eric,
Our thoughts to all of you. I had the privilege of playing in a foursome with Gary for a few years at the NHCC, and sharing a Cabin Still or two. What a nice guy. A kind and gentle man. Like my dad, I don’t believe I ever heard him utter a bad word about anyone. I’m the only one left from that foursome, and I kind of feel envious of those guys and the fun they will have golfing, and then going fishing.
    God speed.

  16. Please accept our sincere condolences. May the words quoted from this song bring you a measure of comfort as it did for us.
”If a man or woman should die, can they live again?
Hear the promise God has made:
He will call; The dead will answer.
They shall live at his command.
For he will have a longing
For the work of his own hand.
So have faith, and do not wonder,
For our God can make us stand.
    And we shall live forever,
As the work of his own hand ”(Job 14:13-15)

  17. I did not know Gary that long since I have only lived on lake pomme de terre since April of 2013. He let me fish from his dock and was a true great person to be around. Gary made you smile and he wanted to make sure if there was something that you needed to don’t hesitate to ask. I will miss him.

  18. Hello, Pam –
We were so sad to hear about Gary, what a fighter he was! So many memories, one of our very first friends as a new couple in New Hampton. A true gentleman, wish the four of us could have spent more time together, but we had to go and move to Arizona! Really enjoyed the couple of times we stayed with you two in recent years while visiting NH. You coming into his life was a great blessing!

We want to send a memorial, and wondered if Gary had a favorite charity in mind. . . Bruce wondered about Ducks Unlimited? Send us an email at when you have a minute.

    Love you,
    Bruce & Paula
