You said to me ” It’s so sad” just nine days ago. What is so very sad is that you are now grieving your own Dad’s passing. I will pray for the strength you need at this time because we know your Dad is already celebrating. We will remember both your Dad and our Mom now on April 1st.
(daughter and son-in-law of Teresa Lensing)
We had the pleasure and privilege of meeting La Vern last year, and were saddened to hear of his passing. We offer our condolences to his family and loved ones.
Sincerely,
Randy and Rose Key, Boulder, CO
Jo and I are wishing to extend our sympathy to the family of LaVern. We will all miss him. We are glad that he had a chance to spend time with us in Montana a few years ago. Had a good time. Many fond memories spent at his home in New Hampton. I remember the first thing we would always see as we drove up to his big white house was the deer statues in the yard. One of the first things that LaVern would always ask me was how I was doing in wrestling and how much weight I still had to cut. All I ever wanted to do was just eat some of Mabel’s good cooking, but I never could. HA. May God comfort you all at this time and bless you and your families.
Mike and Jo Roths
Marian and Dan: My deepest sympathies go out to you and your entire family at this difficult time. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. If I can be of any assistance, please let me know.
May God surround you with his love and arms of people who love you.
May your memories bring you healing in the loss of your father. He will be missed. My sincere sympathy to all of you.
Merle & Karen, Bill & Mary and families,

To the Roths family my deepest regrets on the passing of LaVern. LaVern touched many hearts thru out the years and was always there when people needed help. I remember LaVern taking Vacation to help my Dad in the fall harvest, umpiring baseball games, firefighter and being a important part of the community. LaVern you will be missed – but you will always been remembered!!

You have our deepest sympathy for the loss of your father and grandfather. Your father always had a sincere smile on his face to greet everyone he met. We always enjoyed visiting with him after wrestling meets and tournaments to discuss the outcome and future of the team. He was an avid fan.
May God bless you with peace in your hearts and comfort knowing that he is resting in peace. Hold your memories close and he will never be absent from your lives as you remember the life lessons he taught each of you.
Dear Ann and Family – Words can never express the sorrow one feels at the loss of a loved one. Although I had not seen your father in many years, I remember him as a very kind man, and I know that he will be greatly missed. Take care and God bless and know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. V-

I will always remember his quiet laugh and his smiling eyes.
You have our sympathy on the passing of LaVern. He was a good friend and Larry started his day with Lavern at Tom’s and Klunders for many years. He was a very good man and will be sorrly missed.
We are currently in Florida and unjfortunately could not attend services. Again you have our sympathy for your loss.
Hello all! My prayers and sympathy for you on the death of your dad. I see where he was only at the care center a short time, so must have been doing pretty good for his age. I have happy memories of all the times your folks came to our farm in A.V. -and some of you kids too.
Once when your Gary was a baby, some of you were at our place and Gary kept crying. Karen said very firmly to him – Gary Raphael Roths – stop crying! Hope to bump into your Iowans sometime in the future!
