Memories Timeline

  1. Regards to all the Lang family. I remember Mavis when she worked downtown when I first came to town. She was friendly and helpful. Did not know about her work in the war effort. Keep sharing her story.

  2. I’ve known the Attleson family since I grew up in the Mt Sterling area & also graduated from the same HighSchool that Mavis did (but not the same year). In the last few years, I’ve been able to have lunch with Mavis & Carol when she came to Denver for her annual stay. What great times we had together – usually 3-4 hour lunches, just visiting & lots of laughs. Mavis was a joy to be around, quick-witted and up to date on everything that was going on in the world. I sure will miss her! Our sympathy to the family.

  3. Our deepest sympathy to Carol, David, Susie and the Lang family. Mavis was such a special, gentle person who always brightened every occasion. I will always remember her smile and that dear laugh, coupled with that twinkle in her eyes which said so much without uttering a word! Wishing you all peace and comfort. With love, Sue and Chip Rathbun

  4. When I worked at the nursing home I always enjoyed visiting with Mavis when she came to visit John Lang. My condolences to her family.

  5. Our family has been blessed with Mavis’s friendship for many years. You all have so many memories to cherish! John and Marilyn Diggs

  6. Our sympathy to all the Lang family. I always had a good visit with her when I saw her. Remember the great memories you have made.
