Arlene E. Dockendorf - Lorezen

Arlene E Lorenzen, age 91, formerly of Alta Vista, IA and currently of Rhinelander, died on February 13, 2015 at the Friendly Village Nursing Home. A Memorial Mass for Arlene will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church/St. Mary's site. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until just prior to the services, on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at the Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church/St. Mary's site. She was born on March 7, 1923 in Alta Vista, Iowa to Bernard and Mayme(Weber)Dockendorf. Arlene married Merle Lorenzen and they enjoyed 67 years of marriage. They first lived in the Milwaukee area where Arlene was employed by AT&T Telephone Company for many years in customer service. In the late 1990's they then moved to the Rhinelander area where they have lived since. She was a member of the Nativity of Our Lord/St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Telephone Pioneers of America and the VFW Auxiliary. Arlene is survived by her husband Merle, her daughter Cheryl(Pete)Laabs of Carol Stream, IL, her sons James Lorenzen of Bay City, TX and Paul(Angela)Lorenzen of Rhinelander, her grandchildren, great grandchildren, two sisters Myrna(James)Adler and Carol Trostle, three brothers Cletus, Vernon(Barbara) and Robert(Mary)Dockendorf, nieces, nephews, other family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons Richard and Gregory.
