  14. Edna was such a sweet lady. I will miss our visits at the public library;she was an avid reader and we would always give each other suggested books to read. Treasure the memories with her; no one can ever take them away from you.

  15. Mike, Nancy and family…May God’s peace and blessings comfort you. Our sincere condolences. As we say good bye to our beloved parents/relatives, there are so many memories ~~ Just thinking about that north “St. Joseph” side of church and everyone in their respective PEWS! Maybe there was comfort in knowing exactly where everyone would be each week!?! 🙂 Edna was a lovely lady who will be sadly missed but fondly remembered.

  18. My sincere condolences to my cousins Sandie , Nancy and Bill and their families . Aunt Edna was always great to visit with . She had a ready smile and a good word for everyone . My memories of her are all good ones , from my childhood to the present . New Hampton has lost a wonderful resident and will not be the same without her .

  19. To Edna’s family, You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Edna was one of a kind, always smiling and had time to visit. We would often times discuss the books we were reading as she loved to read. She will be missed in the neighborhood.

  20. To the family of Edna Long, My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of your loss. Cherish the memories which you had with Edna. It is always hard to lose a loved one. Your family has been sympathy.

  21. Please accept our sincere condolences for the loss of your loved one. This is one of the most difficult things we must face in our life. May it comfort you to know that others are deeply touched by your loss. God assures us at Psalms 34:18 that he is near to those broken in heart and those crushed in spirit he saves. Jesus also promises that we will be able to see our loved ones again. Jesus own words found at John 5:28,29 tells us there will be a resurrection. What a wonderful hope! God says that soon on the earth there will be no more pain, suffering and especially death at Revelation 21:3-5 We anxiously await the day when we will no longer lose those we love. May these bible thoughts bring you comfort at this most difficult time.

  22. So very sorry to hear of Edna’s passing. Thinking of you all at this time! I’ll always remember her cute little grin that always seemed to say “I know you girls are up to no good” when Steph and I would go out! She was a gem!!

  23. Sorry we could not attend the wake, as we are in Texas. Edna was a great lady! We will miss her dry sense of humor and seeing her at volunteer jobs around town. Our prayers and sympathy to all of her family. Leon and Nancy Wegner
