  7. Helen and family, my thoughts are with you at this difficult time of losing your father. I enjoyed visiting with him when he got out for his little walks at the aprt. complex.

  8. To All of Elmer’s Kids: Wow where does time go? Elmer’s passing leaves a big hole in my heart – he is the last of the neighborhood “Parents” – It seems like yesterday we were all children, without a care in the world – I still can hear my Mother say “Let’s see if Elmer can fix it?” – He could and he did – He was truly a special Man to our family
as he was to yours – I feel so bad I was out of town and not able to pay my last respects to Him – May he rest in Peace, he truly deserves it as a Soldiers (wounded in WWII), as a Parent,( losing three sons at such an early age), as a Husband (burying 2 wives), he walked a long tough road – My Deepest Sympathy to All of You…..

Think of all of you so often and Remember When?

  9. Family of Elmer Heying,
I want to extend to the family my sincere sympathy in the passing of Elmer.
I feel bad that I didn’t make it to Elmer’s wake or funeral, but I didn’t find out untill September 20th that Elmer had passed away on the 4th. I grew up with Steve, Julie, Helen , Tammy and Peter and want them to know that I would have come to both the wake and funeral had I known about Elmer’s passing in time.

    Sincerely,

    Steven Murphy
