She also enjoyed camping and farming. Jenny could often be found horseback riding and going for ATV rides. She was known for planning elaborate four course meals during planting and harvest season and would set up a table in the field waiting for the tractors to come to the end of the rows to stop and eat. She always made sure no one went hungry while in the field. She was an avid cook and loved to read cookbooks. She was known for her wonderful sense of humor and could find something funny in any situation. Her favorite songs was Alan Jackson’s, “Remember When.” She was a devoted farm wife, a wonderful mother and adoring grandmother. Jenny will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

  1. Jenny always had a sense of humor hard to beat!! She was a great neighbor & a good cook! In 1968 she warned us of the F4 tornado coming to hit our farm & laid in the ditch with her 3 boys , my parents & me while it destroyed our farm. Meanwhile Bob was in the field nearby & watched it! She will be missed!!

  2. My heart sunk when I heard about Jenny! I always would look forward to seeing Jenny when I would go to Kurt and Patty’s to help rock picking and fall harvest! Before Jenny had her cabin she would bring lunch out to us and always made a scrumptious meal. I was always ready for nap after eating but didn’t dare tell Kurt!! My love to all of Jenny’s family and may Jenny Rest In Peace!
