  1. I have very fond memories of Jim. From grade school through high school, we were the best of friends. He always made me laugh and always had a smile. In later years when he was still in the New Hampton area, if we happened to see each other, he’d still have a friendly greeting and that contagious smile. May he rest in peace. 11. To the Scally Family!!
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all ! My Wife [ Sally & I ] were fortunate to see Jim [ Simms ] about a month ago. We by accident saw each other at a restaurant in the waterloo area, we asked to join him as he was already seated. And for the next hour and half to two hours we talked and laughed about the old times and every thing between. James will be DEEPLY missed.
    Gary & Sally Wichman

  12. Jim was always so much fun to be around and was so easy to talk to. I will always remember his contagious laugh! You will truly be missed, Jim.

  13. Uncle Jim: Your sense of humor, awesome laugh, smile, and kind spirit will never be matched!! I love you! Rest easy.

  14. My husband and I are truly sorry for your tremendous loss and would like to express our condolences to the entire family. We cannot imagine the great pain and sorrow you are experiencing during this very difficult time. It is our sincere hope you find comfort in knowing that God has promised to “swallow up death forever” (Isaiah 25:8), and that he will resurrect our dear loved ones who have passed away. (John 5:28). May your many great memories help you find peace and comfort as you go through the coming days.

  15. Jim was a wonderful uncle to have, I remember when he’d come stay with me and my mom and we would all sit around and talk for hours on end about crazy stories and his beliefs. I can’t forget his smile or his laugh. He loved my chubby cheeks he’d always grab/pinch them. As much as I hated it when I was younger ill sure miss it. (I don’t think anyone grabbed my chubby cheeks more then him) He loved me that’s for sure! If he could only see how much I’ve grown into a young woman…. When I was younger I wish I would’ve known what “cherishing moments” were. We are left with wonderful memories!! Look over my mom for me Uncle Jim, she loved you dearly! Until we meet again. Rest In Peace.
