  1. To all the family of Jerry, I will miss his phone calls, even though he wasn’t much of a talker. We all know how we had to keep the conversation going, and he usually gave short abrupt answers but he did try to keep up with what was going on in everyone’s families. Just last week I asked him how many jumps he made as a paratrooper and he said 14. He was good with dates and numbers as he could remember all of his brothers and sisters birthdays and years they were born. One of his earlier hobbies was a numismatic. Look that up in your dictionary, I had to. And I didn’t say he collected this, just studied it. May you rest in peace Uncle Jerry and may God keep you safe now. Godspeed!!

  2. Jerome always shared his stories with me about going to school in Mankato and his times spent in Rochester as he knew I lived in both cities. For not seeing him much in the past years, he always remembered me whenever we did. I always appreciated when he would stop by to visit my parents (Marlys and Willie Baldwin) on his way through Charles City. Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the funeral service. I’m sure there is a game of cards happening in Heaven with all of our loved ones right now.

  3. I was blessed to know Jerry over these last many years. Hearing about his life and seeing the pictures that went along with the stories. He had many accomplishments and a daily survivor of mental illness. I consider it an honor to have known Jerry. Heaven has yet gained another angel. Rest In Peace Jerry, my friend.

  4. I had the pleasure of knowing Jerry over the last 4 years. God Bless him and his family! May God continue to show His love and blessings to All! You are in my thoughts and prayers…God Bless! Teresa

  5. I am very sorry to hear of your loss. The lost of a loved one grieves the heart and words are never enough to take away the pain. However, our Heavenly Father knows your grief. As a loving and caring Father, He will be there to comfort and sooth your “broken-heart and crushed spirit”. ( Psalm 34:18 ). May you find comfort and hope in God’s promise of a day when you will reunite with your loved one again. ( Isaiah 26:19 ). My sincere condolences to the family.
