Larry A. Heideman

Larry A. (Rusty) Heideman, age 61, of Elma, IA, formerly of Fredericksburg, IA died on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at his home in Elma. Visitation will be held from 3:00-7:00 PM on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Conway-Markham Funeral Home in Elma, IA with a 6:45 PM Time of Sharing. A private family burial will take place at a later date. Larry Allen was born on February 11, 1956 to Donald and Augusta (Hovar) Heideman in Charles City, IA. He attended and graduated from Fredericksburg High School in 1974. Upon graduation, Larry served his country for five years when he entered the United States Marine Corp. He received his honorable discharge in 1979. Larry returned home and began his career as a welder for Featherlite. He also worked various jobs throughout his adult life. Larry enjoyed playing chess and science fiction Larry is survived by his one sister, Lisa (Scott) Chapin of Tripoli, IA; four brothers, John Heideman of Winona, MN, Mike Heideman of Protivin, IA, Bruce Heideman of Grundy Center, IA and Dean Heideman of Morrison, IA; numerous nieces and nephews and his loyal pup, Bimbo. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Augusta, Heideman and three sisters, Virginia Lee Heideman-Leach, Susan Marie Heideman and Cheryl Ann Heideman.
