  1. Roger and Hattie, you have our sympathy. We are still in TX so won’t be able to be there for you. Plan to be home the week of May 1st. How long will you be in IA? Our prayers are with you.

  2. So sorry to hear of the death of your mother. Audrey, Linda, and I were together today. Linda said she heard on the radio your mother had died. We started thinking about the fun times we had as neighbors – going with permission or sneaking to your house to play, the geese chasing me, John & Linda riding bikes while Jim and I had to walk, etc. You have our sympathy. Take care.

  3. Haeflinger family I’m so sorry for the loss of your Mother and dear friend.I so enjoyed getting to know Lorna over the years.I will miss her and her Apple cake!!! What a wonderful Mother she was to you all and of course to our Curly/Lorna Ann.Bless her heart.

  4. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone at this very difficult time. She will dearly be missed by her children, grandchildren and friends. She always did and always will have a special place in my heart.

    Love and prayers to all..
    Willie

  5. We are so sorry to hear about Lorna. Seems like she lived a full life. We are sure your family has many wonderful memories of her. At times like this the Bible comforts me so much. Jesus said in John 5:28&29 there would come a time when those in the memorial tombs would hear his voice and come out. This would also be at a time when Revelation 21:3&4 says there will be no more tears, pain or death. This would all happen when God’s Kingdom comes, the same kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for in the Lord’s Prayer. What a wonderful prospect for Lorna and all those in the memorial tombs now. We express our deepest sympathy. We hope you find comfort in this time of loss.

  6. Our last dear aunt . . . I remember the day she married Earl – the blue dress matched her blue eyes – how she cared for and cleaned me up when I fell in the cow yard – how worried she was that my mother would be mad because my new shoes were filled with manure – her big smile and always a warm hug . . . so many things come to mind. . . the whiisker rubs that Uncle Earl was famous for and that Lorna rescued me from more than once.
How lucky we were to have such devoted and loving mothers.
Now she is with her dear Earl and can watch as you all raise your families – a fabulous legacy. My love to you all!
