  12. The Geerts family was always fun to have as neighbors when I was growing up. It was great to come back years later and see the many fine children and grandhildren. We especially enjoyed acquiring a few of Louie’s carvings. I know my parents appreciated him keeping the house in good running order. I enjoyed visiting with him in the nursing home. Condolences to all family members.

  13. Our sympathy on the loss of your father/grandfather/uncle. May all your precious memories help you get through this difficult time. God bless you all.

  14. We are so sorry to hear about Louis. Seems like he lived a full life. We are sure your family has many wonderful memories of him. At times like this the Bible comforts me so much. Jesus said in John 5:28&29 there would come a time when those in the memorial tombs would hear his voice and come out. This would also be at a time when Revelation 21:3&4 says there will be no more tears, pain or death. This would all happen when God’s Kingdom comes, the same kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for in the Lord’s Prayer. What a wonderful prospect for Louis and all those in the memorial tombs now. We express our deepest sympathy. We hope you find comfort in this time of loss.

  15. To the shole family of Louie, our thoughts and prayers on his passing.
    He was a good man.

Bob and Brenda Rausch and family

  16. Steve and Nita, and families of Louis,
So sorry to see that your father has passed. As with my mother who recently passed, they lived long lives and enjoyed living in and raising their children in this area. You have our condolences. John and Jackie Erickson

  17. Tom, Helen and the rest of the Geerts family, I remember when my g-pa was at the nursing and rehab center and Louie was there as well I remember going to visit my g-pa and all he would talk about is Louie and what he had been up to my g-pa kept a pretty good eye on him, now they both can enjoy the good life up in heaven…I am sorry to hear about the passing of Louie thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this trying time.
