Mary Webb
March 5, 1931 ~ October 10, 2013
Mary Margaret (Bird) Webb, age 82, of Minneapolis, MN, formerly of Alta Vista passed peacefully with her family by her side after an admirable battle against a number of health challenges. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and neighbor. She loved life, welcomed all who came into her home, and took a genuine interest in everyone who crossed her path. She was deeply loved and will be truly missed.
Mary grew up in Burlington, Iowa, spent her adult life in Alta Vista, Iowa, and last years in Minneapolis, MN. She was active in her church, ladies auxiliary and the community. She was an avid crossword puzzler, follower of politics and world events, great cook and entertainer, enjoyed spending time with friends and family, loved her dog Charley, and was a fan of music, sports, and trivia.
Mary is survived by her sons John and Randall, grandchildren Jennifer, Jacob and Bailey, brother John and sister Ellen, and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Loyd and brother, Tom.
So sorry to hear the passing of Mary, she was a great lady. When I use to work at the library in Alta vista she would come in and we would hatch over the world problems and laugh like crazy about our solutions to them. She will be missed so much. You will be in our thoughts and prayers. Suezen, Keith & Bethany Glaser
Please accept our sincere condolences. May the words quoted from this song bring you a measure of comfort as it did for us.
”If a man should die, can he live again?
Hear the promise God has made:
He will call; The dead will answer.
They shall live at his command.
For he will have a longing
For the work of his own hand.
So have faith, and do not wonder,
For our God can make us stand.
And we shall live forever,
As the work of his own hand ”(Job 14:13-15)
Sorry to hear of Aunt Mary’s passing. Jack and Randy you have our deepest sympathies. Your Mom can now join all the other relatives for a nice family reunion in the Kingdom of Heaven. I’m sure she will still be the “life” of the party. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

God Bless you Mary ,you are a wonderful person and deserve peace in the arms of Jesus.
I would like to offer my deepest sympathies to you. I recently lost my mother and know the pain of a broken heart. Our Heavenly Father feels our pain. Psalms 34:18 assures us that He is near to those broken at heart. He does, however, hold out a promise that in the very near future He will wipe out all tears of sorrow and pain from our eyes and death will be no more. (Revelation 21:3-5) He also promises to remember all those in the memorial tombs (graves) and restore them to life. (John 5:28,29) Until those words are fulfilled, may you find much peace and comfort in God and in His promises found in the Holy Scriptures.
