  1. We are deeply sorry for your loss ~ Conway-Markham Funeral Home – Elma

  2. My sympathy to the family. I started to school with Pat at St Williams school. Still remember a first-grade skit we were in for a Christmas program. Don’t remember the entire event but the finale was that I gave Pat a big “bear hug”.

  3. Pat and I have been friends since meeting each other in the breakroom at Sprint in Kansas City in 2001. Pat always had a warm smile for everyone she met. She had a glamourous look with her salt and pepper hair, and was always dressed in the latest fashions. Pat and I shared many meals, stories, laughs, and tears over the years. She was such a sweet soul and I miss her dearly. Pat loved cats, as do I. After her last stray, Katie, passed away, I offered her my little girl, BonBon. I knew they would be perfect for each other, and give each other the love and attention they both needed. I will always remember Pat describing the latest book she was reading for book club. I looked forward to reading some of them with her after I retire next year. We were also planning a summer vacation in 2022 to be tourists in Minneapolis/St. Paul. I’m so sad she’s gone and will have to live with the fond memories. May she rest in peace.

  4. Pat and I shared a friendship for 44 years. My life was enriched knowing her. I offer my condolences to the family. Pat was a quiet lady, and somewhat reserved. She was also friends with a gentleman friend of ours. She liked to go for walks on the Plaza so we all set out together. We were looking in stores, walking and enjoying the sunshine when suddenly she and our male friend took off skipping down the sidewalk. When we caught up with them, she was doubled over laughing and I saw a different Pat this day. Loved her many surprised. Nita

  5. Pat became a very dear friend as she served the people of the K. C. area as a TBI and concussion therapist in our Optometrist office. The patients loved her sweet personality. She would use innovative therapy activities that got the results to recovery. After her retirement we spent many hours on phone visits. I loved soaking up her wisdom on a wide variety of subjects. I truly will miss her loving spirit.

  6. Pat was a very dear friend….such a big loss for everyone. I will miss her so very much. My condolences to her family and prayers. ๐Ÿ’•

  7. Thinking of you all with prayers. Wishing you wonderful memories to ease your loss. Sorry I won’t be able to be there on Jan 15th. It seems we only get to see each other at these celebrations of life. Love and thoughts Lori (Nuebel) Falk

  8. I remember our visits to the Recker farm fondly. Patsy was older and I remember looking up to her as a small child. She will be missed and my heartfelt sympathy goes out to the entire family. Peg Nuebel Boren

  9. Pat and I became roommates in 1966 shortly after she moved to Indendence, Iowa. We shared an apartment until Dec 1968 when I got married. We remained friends for the next 53 years through letters and visits although we never lived near each other again. I have wonderful memories of the years we shared an apartment . She was a wonderful friend and will be greatly missed

  10. With loving memories of Patricia Recker, One of Pat’s last joy was she helped procure a beautiful tree to be planted where she lived.

  11. Pat will be greatly missed as a dear sister and a wonderful Aunt. Much Love, Tom, Maggie, Joe, Jenny, Jacob and Katie
