Peggy Lee Drewelow, age 57, of Ionia, IA, passed away on Friday, May 11, 2018 at her home. Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Conway-Markham Funeral Home in New Hampton, IA with Pastor Kevin Frey officiating. Burial will be in New Hampton Cemetery at New Hampton, IA. Visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 AM on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Conway-Markham Funeral Home in New Hampton, IA. Peggy was born on March 10, 1961 in New Hampton, IA to Francis and Beverly (Watts) Drewelow. She attended and graduated from New Hampton High School in 1979. After graduation, Peggy went on to receive her CMA and CNA and worked at several nursing homes, Tom’s Restauart in New Hampton, New Hampton Hospital for many years and then worked at Burger King in Waverly where she had to quit when health issues prevented her from working. Peggy met Duane Liddle many years ago and they resided in Waverly, until Duane passed away, then Peggy moved to Ionia. Although they never married Duane was the love of her life. Peggy enjoyed her cats as we all know. She loved seeing and spending time with her nieces and nephews and enjoyed watching them grow up. She spent a great deal of time surfing Facebook and keeping up to date with everyone. Peggy is survived by her six siblings: Shirley (Ron) Roethler of Charles City, IA, Karen (Rod) Kane of Fairbank, IA, Rita (Darwin) Fisher of New Hampton, IA, Barbara (Andrew) Kottke of Fredericksburg, IA, David (Linda) Drewelow of New Hampton, IA and Vern Drewelow of New Hampton, IA; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews who she adored more than anything. She was Godmother to Amy Haines, Leah Vore and Dawson Fisher. She is preceded in death by her significant other Duane Liddle; her parents Francis and Beverly (Watts) Drewelow; and her grandparents. She will be remembered by her smile and contagious laugh as her memories live on.
