Robert J. Randall, age 71 of New Hampton, IA died Monday, March 7, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center in New Hampton.
Robert Jay Randall was born December 26, 1939 to Oscar and Stella (Ross) Randall in New Hampton. Bob attended New Hampton Public School. He worked at various jobs in his youth. Bob was employed by Kroblin Trucking on the Sara Lee loading dock. Later he worked for Plum Builders constructing rafters until his health no longer permitted it. Bob was a member of Redeemer Luther Church. He enjoyed TV, bowling, gardening, playing cards and visiting with family and friends.
Bob is survived by his step-sister, Arlene (Roy) Peterson of Eugene, OR; his brothers, Glenn (Lucille) Randall of Dike, IA, Oscar Randall, Jr. of Waterloo, IA, Larry (Irma) Randall of Winthrop, MN and Duane Randall of New Hampton; his sisters, Shirley Sweitzer of New Hampton, Joan (Tim) Wood of Waverly, IA, Marilyn (Marvin) Njus of New Hampton, Connie (Chuck) Speicher of New Hampton and Diane (Michael) Olson of Charles City, IA and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters Darlene, Betty, Lois, and Marge and his brother Kenneth.

Cemetery:
Burial will be in New Hampton Cemetery at New Hampton.
Visitation:
Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00pm on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at Conway-Kolbet Funeral Home in New Hampton. Visitation will continue at the church one hour prior to the service on Friday.
Service:
Funeral services for Robert will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, March 11, 2011 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in New Hampton with Reverend Glenn Smith officiating.
Our sympathy to all the family. We got to know Bob when he was working at Bowlaway Lanes many years past. He always had a smile and wave for us. May he rest in peace.
