Roy J. Longhorn
March 10, 1956 ~ August 24, 2018
With sadness, we announce the passing of Roy J. Longhorn, (March 10, 1956 - August 24, 2018) at the age of 62. Roy is survived by his two sons Ryan (Kristen) Longhorn, and Justin Longhorn, as well as two brothers and a sister, Glen (Karen) Longhorn, Roger (Florence) Longhorn, and Janis Longhorn. Roy will be remembered by his grandchildren, Hunter, Annaleise, Ryan, Kelsey, Haille, Drake, and Alexis. Roy was preceded in death by his parents James and Mabel, and by his oldest brother, Gary.
In lieu of a funeral service, his sons are asking that people take a moment and remember Roy in their own way. He was a loyal friend and a generous and caring person. He will be missed. His sons will scatter his ashes in a variety of locations where they know Roy was happiest.
Memorial donations in Roy’s memory may be made to Conway-Markham who will direct them to the family.
A monument will be placed in the New Hampton Cemetery near his parents.

Roy was a class mate of mine, we hung out together when in school. We had many laughs. He always had a smile and never seemed to let life get him down.
